Description

A most attractive Mid 20th Century Vintage HB Quimper French Faience Bonboniere and Cover of rounded hexagonal form. The cover painted with a figure of a Petite Bretonne, seated, facing to the left and holding her basket of eggs, reserved within a border of decor riche arabesques with yellow ochre trim, the sides decorated in similar manner. Both base and cover signed in underglaze blue, the base, HB (interlaced) QUIMPER 12 XIII, the cover HB (interlaced) QUIMPER 12 XIII R.
