A large and decorative Mid / Late 20th Century  Vintage Spanish Talavera Faience Plaque, pierced for hanging, and depicting the eponymous hero of Miguel de Cervantes novel, Don Quixote, accompanied by his faithful squire, Sancho Panza. Produced at the Talavera de la Reina pottery in Toledo, the plaque is signed on the reverse S. TIMONEDA TALAVERA for Santos Timoneda Perez.
