About this piece
Another lovely, large Pair of Early 19th Century Antique English Late Georgian Brass Candlesticks of good colour and bold form. This pair still retaining their internal push-ejector rods. N.B. These Late Georgian Candlesticks are often confused with the Victorian models which, in due course, developed from them. For similar examples see ""Old Domestic Base-metal Candlesticks", by Ronald F. Michaelis, { Antique Collectors' Club : Woodbridge : 1978 }, Figures 182, 183 and 185.
