About this piece
A fine clean First Edition copy of "London Interiors from the Archives of Country Life", by John Cornforth, published by Aurum Press of London in 2000. The role played by Country Life magazine in stimulating the 20th Century revival of interest in Britain's architectural heritage cannot be overstated and that journal's photographic archive may today quite properly be regarded as a national treasure of itself. Here, Architectural Historian, John Cornforth, presents and discusses an evocative selection of superb black and white photographs which bring to life some of London's most sumptuous interiors. Hard covers, large format, 192 pages, original dust jacket.
