About this piece
This rare Early 20th Century Antique Welsh Slipware Butter Pot from the Buckley Pottery near Mold would originally have had a cover, which sadly has gone missing over the years. However, with its sgraffito message reading "A Present from Buckley 1919" it remains a scarce and desirable item for the collector and is the perfect receptacle for a small plant.
