A highly decorative Mid 19th Century Antique English Victorian Copper Samovar / Tea Urn of excellent quality, the interior of the cover bearing the Retailer’s Mark of William S. Burton, Furnishing Ironmongers of Oxford Street, Newman Street and Perry’s Yard, London. The spherical body mounted upon an attractively moulded base with four splayed feet, the brass spigot in working order. Unusually, the piece still retains it’s original white opaline glass handles, { one with small chip as illustrated in Image 7 , which does not however detract from the beauty of the piece }. Altogether an item simply oozing period charm and very much one for the discriminating Interior Decorator.
