An attractive, well coloured, Mid 19th Century Antique English Victorian Staffordshire Pottery "Cottage orné" ~ basically that listed by Harding as Fig. 3168, but with the addition of a pillared entrance porch, to which we have allotted the catalogue number H 3168a. All in good condition, but with overall light crazing to the glaze. One of the myriad designs produced throughout the period for use as chimney ornaments. This one, an appealing example of a not uncommon model is one of two presently available ex stock. These display well either individually or as a pair.Height ~ 19.00 cm. / 7.50 inches ~ Width ~ 19.00 cm. / 7.50 inches ~ Depth ~ 7.60 cm. / 3.00 inches ~ Year ~ Circa 1855.
