Description

This lovely Early 20th Century Vintage Royal Doulton English Porcelain Figurine, "Priscilla" ~ HN 1559, was designed by leading Doulton artist Leslie Harradine and was issued in this purple colourway from 1933 to 1949. Beautifully modelled and well coloured, the base fully marked in green with the printed Royal Doulton backstamp for the period, this alongside the numeral 7, indicating that this figurine was potted in 1934, Impressed Date Code, 1534, { for 01 May 1934 }, in green script, Priscilla, HN1559, Potted by Doulton & Co., plus in blue, the Painter's Monogram 6, unidentified, but recorded as working at Doulton.
