A most attractive Mid 19th Century Antique English Victorian Staffordshire Pottery Castle with applied foliage, the skirted base of serpentine form. A variant of those catalogued by Harding in "Victorian Staffordshire Figures 1835 - 1875" as Figs. 3155 and 3165, but given added interest by the unusual feature of an applied mauve plaque bearing the Royal Arms above the entrance.
