A good Late 19th Century Antique English Victorian Wedgwood Jasper Ware Tobacco Jar and Cover, decorated in typical manner with cameos of classical scenes, the base impress marked WEDGWOOD ENGLAND. This piece would in all probability originally have held an internal plate to press down the tobacco, thus helping to retain it's freshness.
