Description

A fine and most attractive Pair of Late 19th Century Antique Japanese Meiji Period Imari Dishes of square form, each dish seated upon a round foot. Softly decorated in a traditional Imari palette of iron red, green and blue together with gilding. The exterior of each dish is decorated with a series of traditional "mon" devices, the interior reserves with a tranquil mountain and lake scene in underglaze blue.
