This charming Pair of Mid 20th Century Vintage Italian Venetian Glass Figurines of a Gentleman and his Lady companion, unsigned but here attributed to the atelier of Franco Giancarlo Toffolo, illustrate to great effect the wonder that is the Glassblowers art. Venice has for centuries been the centre of fine glassmaking in Italy, and these lovely figurines, fine examples of traditional Italian craftsmanship, in their sparkling livery of gold, white and green, go to show that standards remained as high in the 20th Century as in earlier times.
