This lovely Late 20th Century English Porcelain Cabinet Dish of unusually large size, bears all of the hallmarks of Reg Johnson's outstanding talent as a ceramics painter "par excellence". Superbly decorated with red and yellow roses, the border heavily gilded, this exceptional piece offers the perfect introduction to the works of this talented Staffordshire artist, examples of whose work may now be viewed at The Potteries Museum and Art Gallery. Signed on the obverse, Reg Johnson, and upon the reverse in brown script, Roses from My Garden by Reginald Johnson.
