Description

A very fine Late 19th Century Antique "HB" Quimper French Faience Plate from the De la Hubaudiere atelier. This one depicting a rather matronly Petite Bretonne, standing, facing to the left, holding a posy of flowers amidst sprays of demi-fantaisie. Overall palette of orange and blue within a simple border of dots and dashes. Signed upon the obverse with the second, conjoined "HB" mark in underglaze black.
