Description

A scarce and interesting Late 20th Century Vintage Pottery Model of Caernarfon Castle, Gwynedd, produced to commemorate the Investiture on 1st July 1969 of Prince Charles as Prince of Wales, and potted by Tooth & Co. at their Bretby Art Pottery, Woodville, Derbyshire. The printed plaque reading, "THE INVESTITURE AT CAERNARVON OF H.R.H. THE PRINCE OF WALES 1st JULY 1969, the base with impressed Maker's mark, viz. a sunburst logo above BRETBY with ENGLAND below.
