A fine clean Late 19th / Early 20th Century Antique English Ceremonial Sash forming part of the regalia of The Order of Oddfellows. The body of the sash of cotton woven with two white stripes upon a blue ground, measuring 14.00 cm. / 5.50 inches in width and 254.00 cm. / 100.00 inches in length with an additional fringe of silver thread at each end. Appended to this is a silk panel measuring 18.40 cm. / 7.25 inches x 13.30 cm. / 5.25 inches upon which is depicted the arms of the order and the motto, "AMICITIA AMOR ET VERITAS" within a border of gold thread, together with the Maker's name, viz. R. WHITE : LONDON.
