Description

Staffordshire Potter Arthur Bowker, { 1909 - 1962 }, having served his apprenticeship at Foley China, set up in business on his own account in the English Potteries at Longton in 1948, subsequently moving to King Street, Fenton. For the next ten years, until the business closed in 1958, he successfully produced a range of Staffordshire Bone China models, including two versions of this lovely Vintage English Porcelain Figurine, "The Pot Seller", offered here in a rich yellow colourway and in perfect condition. The base fully marked, "Staffordshire Fine Bone China of Arthur Bowker Made in England".
