"Shall I, or Shan't I ?", He seems to be saying to himself ~ This colourful Late 20th Century porcelain figurine of a seated Cavalier, simply oozing character, bears all of the hallmarks of Reg Johnson's multi-faceted talent, not only as designer, but also as potter and painter. Superbly modelled, beautifully decorated, and fired in his own studio, "Cavalier" offers the perfect introduction to the works of this talented Staffordshire artist, examples of whose work may now be viewed at The Potteries Museum and Art Gallery. The underside fully signed in gilt script, viz. :- CAVALIER by Studio Potter Reg Johnson.
