This lovely Late 20th Century Royal Doulton English Porcelain Cabinet Plate bears all of the hallmarks of Reg Johnson's outstanding talent as a ceramics painter "par excellence". Superbly decorated with sprays of the orchid, Brassolaeliocattleya, the border heavily gilded, this fine piece offers the perfect introduction to the works of this talented Staffordshire artist, examples of whose work may now be viewed at The Potteries Museum and Art Gallery.
