A rare and delightful Mid 20th Century Vintage Paragon English Porcelain Figurine, "London Cries ! ~ Lavender Seller", decorated in a red and blue colourway, one of a series of seven "London Cries" designed by leading artist Reginald Johnson, Circa 1950, all of which are now difficult to find. The base with Paragon backstamp plus title in underglaze black, viz. "LONDON CRIES!" LAVENDER SELLER, together with the Painter's Monogram, ED above the Series Number, 172.
