This lovely Late 20th Century porcelain figurine, " Columbine" after the Nymphenburg figurine modelled by Franz Anton Bustelli, { 1723 - 1763 } bears all of the hallmarks of Reg Johnson's multi-faceted talent, not only as designer, but also as potter and painter. Superbly modelled and beautifully decorated, this delightful piece offers the perfect introduction to the works of this talented Staffordshire artist, examples of whose work may now be viewed at The Potteries Museum and Art Gallery. The underside fully signed "Modeled { sic. } by FRANZ ANTON BUSTELLI NYMPHENBURG about 1755 - 60 Painted by Studio Potter Reg Johnson". Impressed numerals 760 ~ These, together with the style of the signature on this piece would suggest that this figurine was "bought in" in the white and later decorated by the artist. The three later rubber pads to the base appear perhaps to hide a further impressed numeral. Height ~ 20.90 cm. / 8.25 inches ~ Width ~ 8.20 cm. / 3.25 inches ~ Depth ~ 10.20 cm. / 4.00 inches ~ Year ~ Circa 1985 PACKING, LOSS IN TRANSIT INSURANCE AND EXPRESS SHIPPING FOR THIS ITEM VIA A ROYAL MAIL TRACKED AND SIGNED FOR SERVICE :- WITHIN U.K. ~ FREE OF CHARGE ~ WITHIN E.U. ~ Ģ35.00 GBP ~ REST OF THE WORLD ~ Ģ45.00 GBP PLEASE ADD THE ABOVE SHIPPING FEE TO YOUR ORDER WHERE APPROPRIATE ~ THANK YOU Love This Item ? ~ Why Not Make Us An Offer ?
