This fine publication from Norfolk Museums Service, issued in 1994, charts the rise of the great national habit, and shows how and why an exotic luxury came to become part of the staple diet. The Norwich Castle Museum collection of teapots is the largest in the world and includes some 2,600 pieces, of which 564 are here described and illustrated, ranging in date from 1720 to 1850.
