This lovely Late 20th Century English Porcelain Cabinet Dish, hand-painted by the artist with large white cabbage roses, set within a heavily gilded, indented border, bears all of the hallmarks of Reg Johnson's multi-faceted talent, not only as designer, but also as painter. Superb decoration and gilding, and all fired in his own studio, this piece offers the perfect introduction to the works of this talented Staffordshire artist, examples of whose work may now be viewed at The Potteries Museum and Art Gallery.
