This attractive Early 20th Century Vintage Royal Doulton English Porcelain Figurine "A Victorian Lady" ~ HN 728, decorated in a pink and purple colourway, was designed by leading Doulton artist, Leslie Harradine, and was issued from 1925 to 1952. One of fifteen colour variations of this particular figurine listed in Charlton's Standard Catalogue of Royal Doulton Figurines, this particular figurine was produced in 1932. The base fully marked in green with the Royal Doulton backstamp as in use from 1927 to 1932, this accompanied by the numeral 5, being the Date Code for 1932, the title, A Victorian Lady, HN 728, Potted by Doulton & Co. plus, in blue, the Painter's Monogram RB, for Reg Brown, recorded as working at Doulton from 1928 to 1962.
