This scarce and delightful Late 20th Century English Bone China Figurine, "Lady Louise", offered here in a red and green colourway with blue frill bears all of the hallmarks of Reg Johnson's multi-faceted talent, not only as designer, but also as potter and painter. Superbly modelled, beautifully decorated, and fired in his own studio, this lovely piece offers the perfect introduction to the works of this talented Staffordshire artist, examples of whose work may now be viewed at The Potteries Museum and Art Gallery. The underside fully signed in blue script, viz :- Studio Potter R Johnson.
