A really lovely Late 20th Century Watercolour, signed and dated Reginald Johnson 1986 at bottom right, depicting a spray of Brassolaeliocattleya Orchids, and offered here in a contemporary glazed moulded giltwood frame. Reg Johnson was a great admirer of the work of his predecessor at Royal Doulton, David Dewsberry, himself particularly admired for his painting of orchids, who doubtless provided the inspiration for much of the later artist's work.Watercolour ~ Height ~ 36.00 cm. / 14.17 inches ~ Width ~ 46.00 cm. / 18.11 inches
