A large and fine example of this Late 20th Century Royal Doulton English Flambé Pottery model of a "Rhinoceros Lying", Model No. 615, the docile creature here at rest, calmly surveying her surroundings. Issued from 1973 - 1996, the base fully marked with the Royal Doulton backstamp in underglaze black, together with impressed mark.
