This lovely Mid 20th Century Vintage Royal Doulton English Porcelain Figurine, "Promenade" ~ HN 2076, was designed by leading Doulton artist Margaret "Peggy" Davies and was issued for just three years, from 1951 to 1953. Decorated in a blue and orange colourway, the underside with Royal Doulton green printed backstamp of the period, plus title, "Promenade", COPR.1950, DOULTON AND CO. LIMITED, Rd.No.862070, { for 1950 }, Rd.No. 28156, Rd.No. 6193, Rd.No. 81/50, impressed numeral 3 and impressed Model Number 1369, and in green script, HN 2076, plus the unidentified Painter's Monogram, TL.
