A delightful Pair of Mid 19th Century Antique English Victorian Staffordshire Pottery Figure Groups ~ "Milkman and Milkmaid with Cows", catalogued by Harding, { Victorian Staffordshire Figures 1835 - 1875 } as Figures 2314D and 2314C and offered here in excellent antique condition. The Milkman, wearing a hat, waistcoat, jacket and trousers, stands with his left arm resting against his cow's shoulder, while his companion stands beside her animal, right hand on it's neck, wearing a hat, blouse, and skirt with an apron, holding a bowl of the type properly known as a "piggin" in her left hand.
